On October 31, an open class on " Ethics Applied to Economics", at 18h00, in room 110 (Ed. Francesinhas 1).

This session is organized within the framework of the Master in International Economics and European Studies.

The speaker will be Professor Maria do Céu Patrão from the University of the Azores.

About the speaker:
Full Professor of Ethics with academic training in Bioethics at the Kennedy Institute of Ethics/Georgetown University. She has held various positions in organizations such as: consultant to the President of the Republic for the Ethics of Life, member of the National Ethics Council for Life Sciences and the Board of Directors of the International Association of Bioethics, being an expert in ethics of the European Commission and UNESCO. Author/coordinator of 25 books and about 180 articles, she is currently leading the projects: "Ética Aplicada", a 12-volume publication on Ethics.
