Open Class | Ethics, Social Responsibility, Business and Sustainability

On November 7, there will be an open class on " Ethics, Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability: The Strategy for Creating and Protecting Organizational Value ", at 18h00, in room 110 (Ed. Francesinhas 1). 

This session is organized within the framework of the Master in International Economics and European Studies. 

The speaker will be Professor Ricardo Lopes Ferro, Ambassador of the ODS Portugal Alliance of the Portuguese network United Nations Global Compact Network Portugal (UN GCNP)

About the speaker:  

He has a degree in Engineering Physics from the University of Aveiro and an MBA in Management and Quality Engineering from the Instituto Superior de Gestão. He also holds a Master's degree in Engineering and Industrial Strategy from ISEG and a PhD in Economics on the subject of "Competitiveness factors of organizations that adopt management systems integrating social responsibility".
He has held various technical positions in the Bureau Veritas Group and since 2005 has been the Corporate Director of the Bureau Veritas Group in Portugal,
Ambassador of the SDG Alliance Portugal of the Portuguese network United Nations Global Compact Network Portugal (UN GCNP). He is president of the Sector Standardization Body for Ethics and Social Responsibility, APEE, and has chaired the CT 164 Technical Committee on Social Responsibility since 2009.
