Presentation Session of Manifesto Magazine No. 2

26 Feb 16:30
Amphitheater 3 (Ed. Quelhas)

Join us on the February 26, the ISEG is holding the launch of the second issue of MANIFESTO magazineat 4:30 p.m. (Amphitheater 3, Ed. Quelhas, 4th floor).

This issue comes with more pages and new content. Two themes stand out. On the one hand, the prospective assessment of the political solution found following the 2015 legislative elections, with the unprecedented convergence of left-wing parties in Portuguese democracy.
On the other, the complex and delicate situation that resulted from the elections in Brazil last October. MANIFESTO brings you two interviews, with Manuela D'Ávila, former candidate for vice-president of Brazil on Fernando Hadda's "ticket", and with Carvalho da Silva, on deepening left-wing policies.

This issue features texts by more than 30 writers, such as Ana Drago, Daniel Oliveira, Farinha Rodrigues, Jorge Malheiros, José Reis, Paulo Areosa Feio and Vítor Dias.

This issue of the magazine also includes a debate on oil exploration in Portugal, in a new contradictory section; texts by Luísa Costa Gomes and Regina Guimarães in the Stories section; Fernando Marante's portfolio, works by Júlio Pomar and Sérgio Condeço and an evocation of Piteira Santos (with a text by Manuel Alegre), and Paulo Varela Gomes (with the republication of a text on cars, cities and sidewalks, from 1993, whose topicality does not go unnoticed).

Free admission.
