F3 College | Pulses in the Right Yields

The College F3 - Food, Farming & Forestry of the University of Lisbon joined the International Year of Pulses by organizing the Conference Cycle "  Tastings and Conversations with Pulses ". The first session is on "  Legumes in adequate yield " and will take place on April 14, at 17h00, in the Novo Banco room, ISEG.  

This session will bring together José António Pereirinha (professor at ISEG) and Domingos Almeida (Instituto Superior de Agronomia).  

The debate will be moderated by Amélia Branco (lecturer at ISEG), who will challenge the natural sciences to talk about issues addressed by the social sciences and vice versa.  

The session will include a tasting of innovative legume-based gastronomic dishes, which will be prepared by the   CookingLab together with students from the Master in Gastronomic Sciences. The preparation and tasting will be accompanied by an explanation of the scientific foundations of the process, maintaining the spirit of tertulia.
