Seminar | Does it (Still) Make Sense to Speak of 'Development'?

From February to May 2020, ISEG will host the 28th of the Cycle of Seminars in Development Studies.

This cycle welcomes experts from all over the world to discuss the theme of the Development. Each theme presented aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda.

On March 5, the second seminar of this edition will be held, entitled "
Does it (Still) Make Sense to Speak of 'Development'?". The speaker will be Felwine Sarr, Senegalese academic, musician and thinker, who will be reflect on the meaning of continuing to talk about 'Development' in the specific case of Africa.


The session starts at 18:00 in Auditorium 5 (Ed. Novo Quelhas).
