From February to May 2020, ISEG will host the 28th of the Cycle of Seminars in Development Studies.

This cycle welcomes experts from all over the world to discuss the theme of the Development. Each theme presented aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda.

On February 27, the first seminar of this edition will be held, entitled "Political Turbulence on Safety Nets: The Metamorphosis of Political Discourse in 20 Years of Minimum Income". The speaker will be Professor José António Pereirinha (ISEG), a specialist in Welfare Economics, who will discuss the metamorphosis of the political discourses produced over 20 years regarding minimum income in Portugal. 

The session starts at 6pm in Amphitheater 1 (Ed. Quelhas, 4th floor).
