The Research Centre for Economic and Organizational Sociology (SOCIUS), of the Higher Institute of Economics and Management of the Technical University of Lisbon (ISEG/UTL), hereby reminds that CRIARS 2012 - 2nd Ibero-American Congress on Social Responsibility - will be held on 25, 26 and 27 October, at ISEG, in Lisbon.
The purpose of CRIARS 2012 is to consolidate a true knowledge sharing network around the themes of Sustainable Development and Social Responsibility.
Our preferred focus is the Ibero-American space, because we believe that in this territory there is a very specific feeling about the importance of the Social Responsibility of Organizations, as a way of legitimizing their actions in the communities where they are inserted. It is in this space of common references that we are interested in understanding the role that organizations and companies should have in promoting a culture of sustainable development in social, economic and environmental terms.
