The Migration Conference 2018 Lisbon

ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics & Management and IGOT - Institute of Geography and Spatial Planning, of the University of Lisbon, are hosting  The Migration Conference 2018 Lisbon, from  June 26-28, 2018.

The conference will be a forum for discussion where experts, teachers, young researchers and students working in the field of migration are encouraged to share their knowledge and experiences in a friendly and frank atmosphere.

The conference is structured into thematic panels with around 100 parallel sessions on the following topics: migration, migrant and non-migrant populations, diasporas and migration policies, with the aim of covering the whole spectrum of human mobility.

The scientific program will include oral presentations, posters and spaces for debate and discussion.

The guest speakers will be announced and confirmed shortly. Previous editions of the conference have featured Douglas Massey, Saskia Sassen, Oded Stark, Giuseppe Sciortino, Caroline Brettell, Barry Chiswick and Karen Phalet.

The organizing and scientific committee is made up of:
