The Higher Institute of Economics and Management of the University of Lisbon and the Authority for Working Conditions are organizing a Training Cycle in the field of Occupational Health, entitled "Psychosocial Risks and Labor Rights" to be held on June 18, 19 and 20, 2014, in Amphitheater 1, Quelhas Building, University of Lisbon.

This 3-day cycle covers three themes related to Occupational Health and aims to contribute to the development of a culture of prevention in the field of occupational safety and health, with a special emphasis on psychosocial risks and inherent labour rights, by disseminating scientific and technical information and good organizational practices in this area. Promoting a culture of prevention involves adopting practices that contribute to preventing and controlling risks at all levels, creating a general awareness of safety among workers and employers and establishing an organizational framework that can guarantee increasingly high levels of health and safety in the workplace. It consists of three modules dealing with Occupational Health and Safety (Module 1), Psychosocial Risks at Work and Moral Harassment (Module 2) and Labor Law and Safety and Health at Work (Module 3), which can be taken together or individually.
