Think Digital Talk with Bernardo Rodo, General Manager OMD (OMNICOM)

  The Think Digital Talks events take place as part of IDEFE's Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Marketing and debate some of the most relevant topics in digital marketing today. February's guest is Bernardo Rodo, general director of OMD, one of the Omnicom group's media agencies.  
The presentation is on the theme "Don't make consumers happy" and will address some of the challenges facing brands in today's landscape. About Bernardo Rodo: Managing Director of OMD since 2012. His career at Omnicom Media Group began in 2007 when he took on the leadership of OMG Digital, which he later combined with the Branded Entertainment unit. In 2009 he was invited to join the group's Worldwide Creative Council. That year he published his first novel, "A Pátria dos Loucos" by Editorial Presença. With a degree in Business Communication, after a three-year stint in Law, he began his professional career in marketing at Nestlé, followed by six years in advertising agencies. In 2005 he founded his own marketing and sales consultancy company. In 2013 he was appointed president of IAB Portugal. He has been a regular speaker at marketing, communication and digital transformation conferences, and as a mentor to start-ups in these areas. He regularly writes opinion articles.
