Concert synopsis
Musical creation can be seen as the quest to give birth to the refined sound expressions of its authors and makers. Some aim for beauty, others for ugliness or for illustrating what they see, feel about themselves or feel about the world. And then there are those who aim for nothing more than sound itself.

Certainly, without knowing when or how, some composers surprised the world with their works. There were others who, after their creative work had come to light, fell silent forever, surprised by their premature death, when their countrymen were already hoping for new and magnificent compositions.

Our choices for this concert include some pearls and musical extravaganzas that have marked the history of music, including one of Rossini's favorite works Passeggiata from the famous "Sins of Old Age".
