The Lisbon Women's Choir is a choir that brings together the talent of several female voices, united by a love of choral music and friendship. Founded at the beginning of 2012 by its mentor and fellow choir member, Maria Pedro Valadão, following on from a project started at the end of 2010, the Lisbon Women's Choir aims to help fill a gap in the Portuguese music scene: the performance of pieces composed for women's voices. The musical experience and enthusiasm of its choristers, who are confident in the value and innovative nature of this project, will certainly contribute to its success.
