On February 7th, ISEG will host the Global Value Chains, Private Sector and Development" workshop.
The session takes place between 09.30 and 13h00, in the DELTA room (Ed. Quelhas, 3rd floor).
This workshop aims to explore the different perspectives on value chains and the evolving relationship between the business world and global development. Thus, aspects of corporate social responsibility (CSR), innovation, global value chains, foreign direct investment, social entrepreneurship, microfinance, as well as BoP markets (bottom-of-the-pyramid) and the role of companies as stakeholders in poverty reduction.
The workshop is organized by CEsA - Center for African and Development Studies and takes place as part of the work to finalize the Project Business4SDGsled by ISEG professor and CESA researcher Luís Mah.
