Workshop | "Caring for the elderly: families, public policies, social dialogue and business practices for reconciling work and family life

A COST Action 'Gender and Health Impacts of Working Life Extension Policies' ( http://genderewl.com ) aims to contribute to greater scientific knowledge about the gender-differentiated impacts of longer working lives on the health and economic well-being of older working people. It also aims to contribute evidence that can support the definition of future policies in this field that explicitly take into account the different needs of women and men.

The Action brings together representatives from 26 COST countries and three partner countries - Canada, New Zealand and the USA, namely members of the CESIS - Center for Social Intervention Studies (Heloísa Perista and Pedro Perista) and the ISEG's Department of Mathematics, - Instituto Superior de Economia e Gestão (Sara Falcão Casaca and Paula Albuquerque).

As part of this COST Action, the following day will be held at ISEG October 26th, the Workshop 'Care for the elderly: families, public policies, social dialog and business practices for reconciling work and family'.

The workshop will start at 10h00, , in Auditorium 4 ( New Building Quelhas).
