I started my career in the automotive sector in 1992 when I joined Renault Portuguesa as a Network Development Manager. I soon felt a strong attraction to the commercial area, so after a short time I moved into the role of Area Manager for the Dealer Network. In the following years, I became Sales Coordinator, and in 1998 I had the opportunity to start a new company within the Renault group from scratch as General Manager - it was Renault Telheiras, a new sales subsidiary. In 2001, I returned to Renault's headquarters to take on the role of Fleet Sales Director.
In 2004, I came into contact with the fantastic project to start up the BMW Group subsidiary in Portugal (BMW Portugal Lda), and accepted the invitation to become Sales and Marketing Director, a position I held until 2008. Then I was invited to take on the role of Managing Director of BMW in Portugal, a position I have held to this day.
