We would like to inform you that registration is now open for the Training Workshops on Research Methodologies, which will take place at ISEG between March and June 2011. These workshops are organized by SOCIUS. The 3rd will be on the theme of "Information Management for Research Teams" and will take place on 6, 7 and 13 May.
Programme:
- Information Management in Project Teams:
between personal information management and collaborative information management
1. mapping information needs throughout the project life cycle
2. Introduction to building MindMaps
2.1 Concepts, theoretical support and application examples
2.2 Practicing the rules of representation and building MindMaps (paper and markers)
2.3 Existing tools for building MindMaps (local installation, proprietary
or free, and web applications)
- Use of collaborative tools for information management (individual / team)
1. Existing solutions according to the different stages of the investigation and/or project life
2. Creation of common spaces for information management (using web tools,
free access, without the need for local installation):
2.1 Dissemination of information among team members
2.2 Articles and bibliographical references (private / public)
2.3 Categorization and analysis of images and photographs
2.4 Digital field records (private / public)
2.5 Preparing reports and documents as a team
2.6 Project memory and reuse of information
