On November 7, the
XI Executive Digest Conference will debate "Growth & Financing our Economy". To carry out this task will count on the participation of professionals from areas as distinct as Banking, Consulting and Retail.
The conference starts at 9am, at the CGD Auditorium of ISEG. After the opening session with Ricardo Florêncio, CEO of Multipublicações, and Mário Caldeira, president of ISEG, António Varela, professor at ISEG and keynote speaker of the event, will follow.
Later, it will be the turn of Emanuel Agostinho, senior manager at Accenture Strategy, to take the floor, followed by José Miguel Leonardo, CEO of Randstad, and Pedro Guerner, head of Corporate Strategy at Sonae. The three speakers will present cases under the theme "Growth of the Economy - which paths?"
At 11 a.m., a round table will be held with comments and conclusions on the three cases presented. Paulo Carmona, Executive Director of "Missão Crescimento", will be the moderator of the session.
After a short break, a second round table will be held on "The different ways of financing companies and the economy". The topic will be discussed by André Gorjão Costa, director and CFO of CTT, Nuno Alves, director and CFO of EDP, José Maria Ricciardi, chairman of the Executive Committee of Haitong, and João Veiga Anjos, head of Santander Global Banking and Markets. The moderation will be in charge of José Azevedo Pereira, professor at ISEG.
The closing speaker will be Vítor Gonçalves, lecturer and chair of ISEG's Management department.
