Olivier Carneiro

Biografia

Olivier Carneiro is a Computer Engineer from Instituto Superior Técnico / University of Lisbon (1998), has an MBA from The Lisbon MBA / Católica|Nova SBE (2012) and has developed his professional career in Information Technology and Entrepreneurship.
In 2023, he started teaching at ISEG. He is also the founder and manager of Olivier Apartments, a company that manages short-term rental apartments, which he created in 2011.
He has been a Computer Expert for the Ordem dos Engenheiros (Portuguese regulatory and licensing body for the engineering profession) since 2012, carrying out software inspections in the context of legal proceedings before the civil courts. Also as an OutSystems freelance developer since 2006, Olivier has implemented many custom enterprise Web Applications in various sectors such as press clipping, legal, finance, and also for the entire business support used by his company.

Between 2004 and 2008, Olivier worked at OutSystems, where he developed solutions and managed custom projects of Software Development in international environments (Netherlands, Portugal, France, UK) and provided training to customers and partners, always using OutSystems technology.
From 2008 to 2017, Olivier worked at Megasis / TAP Air Portugal as an external consultant and as an employee, where he consistently achieved excellent results as an IT Project Manager of high visibility and strategic IT projects in international environments with teams of more than 100 members, more than 10 external and internal suppliers, and a budget of more than €5M. Solutions were implemented using a range of technologies, including OutSystems, Tibco, DataStage, Cobol, MicroStrategy, Java and PHP.
