Alumni Económicas is organising a webinar on “Green Economy: How to build a sustainable and profitable future?” on the 17th of June, at 19.00, with guest speakers Sofia Santos, Carlos Costa Pina, Sofia Escária and Afonso Arnaldo. The event will also count with the presence of the Dean of ISEG, Professor Clara Raposo, and the Chair of Alumni Económicas, Horácio Negrão.
Due to global warming and climate change, the world is facing climate transition with an urgency. The European Union wants to lead this transition in the world and has recently launched the European Ecological Pact (the “Green Deal”), as well as the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism, which will channel billions of euros of investment towards decarbonisation, the green economy, and sustainability. What challenges will our society face in the coming years? What opportunities will there be to reinvent the way we live and work?
These and other issues will be discussed in yet another webinar organised by Alumni Económicas.
You are invited to join us in this interesting debate.
The webinar is open to everyone. We are counting on your presence!
The event will be held in Portuguese.
