Biografia
José Alves é Professor Auxiliar no Departamento de Economia do ISEG. É ainda Licenciado, Mestre e Doutor em Economia pelo ISEG. Membro Integrado da UECE - Research Unit on Complexity and Economics e do CESifo. Tem publicado artigos sobretudo na área das finanças públicas. Já fez parte de um projeto de investigação financiado pela Fundação Francisco Manuel dos Santos sobre Migrações de Substituição. Ainda, já desempenhou cargos de assessoria na Assembleia da República, consultor económico no Institute of Public Policy (IPP) e gestor de projetos de ciência e tecnologia no Laboratório Nacional de Engenharia Civil, I.P.
