Skill Up for the Future

The Skill Up For The Future program now includes 12 ECTS credits that encompass various transversal skills, the acquisition of which has been identified as fundamental for the training of 1st cycle students. The various modules will run throughout the 3 years of the degree program.

Registration (Skill up the Future)

Registration for Skill Up for the Future modules for the academic year 2026/2027 are made when renewing registration for the academic year of July 15 to 22 via Fenix for courses that have Skill up the Future integrated into their curriculum - Management, Finance.

Internship (Gestão/Management Degree)

Curricular internship for Management students, in accordance with ISEG's 1st Cycle Assessment Regulations. The curricular internship is an individual option for the student and corresponds to the UC called Internship, which is part of the curricular offer of ISEG's Management degree.


The internship aims to complement academic training with experience in a professional context and is regulated by the formalization of a tripartite protocol between ISEG, the host institution and the student.

Registration for the internship course

Students wishing to register for the Internship Curricular Unit should send an e-mail to the following address seclic@iseg.ulisboa.pt of Academic Services, the internship application accompanied by internship plan proposal.

The start of the internship is subject to prior approval by the Coordinator of the Internship Curricular Unit.

Internship Activity Report

The student must prepare, in conjunction with their ISEG supervisor and the supervisor at the host organization, an internship activity report that covers the following aspects:
(i) Summary;
(ii) Identification (internship institution, timetable, duration, supervisors);
(iii) Objectives;
(iv) Description of duties performed;
(v) Knowledge and skills acquired;
(vi) Self-assessment of performance;
(vii) Critical analysis and suggestions.

The internship activity report must be submitted to the ISEG supervisor no later than 30 days after the end of the internship.

Duration of the internship

The internship has a minimum duration of 75 hours or 150 hours, corresponding to 3 or 6 ECTS respectively.
