The "e-Skills Week 2010" will be held from March 10 to 13 as part of Futurália. This initiative is part of an EU-wide project led by the EC and promoted by DigitalEurope and European Schoolnet with the aim of helping to raise awareness among the population and the various market players - the general public, students, ICT users, SMEs and public bodies - of the growing demand for professionals with ICT skills and their importance in companies and society.
Diogo Vasconcelos, President of APDC, will be the Ambassador for the event, which kicks off with an Opening Session on March 10, followed by the inauguration of Futurália - Educational, Training and Employment Exhibition, in its third annual edition.
