ISEG/IDEFE launches a new Post-Graduation in "Portuguese Economy in the Global Context" (EPCG)

HOW WILL THE PORTUGUESE ECONOMY EVOLVE?

HOW IS THE PORTUGUESE ECONOMY DEFINED IN RELATION TO SPAIN, EUROPE AND THE WORLD?

HOW TO INCREASE THE QUALITY AND RESILIENCE OF DECISIONS TAKING INTO ACCOUNT THE STRUCTURE OF THE PORTUGUESE ECONOMY IN THE GLOBAL CONTEXT?

These are some of the questions that the new Postgraduate course "Portuguese Economy in the Global Context" (EPCG) seeks to answer! In the current context of great uncertainty and instability, a more structural understanding of the dynamics of the Portuguese Economy may prove decisive for the survival / affirmation of projects and organizations.

EPCG seeks to meet a growing demand for a structured understanding of the Portuguese Economy, a small open economy inserted in the global space, but also in the European and Iberian spaces. This understanding is crucial for a real perception of the competitive environment and its potential evolutions and a more informed and conscious decision, both at the level of private and public organizations.

The scientific coordination is in charge of Prof. Dr. José Maria Brandão de Brito, ISEG and Prof. Dr. António Alvarenga, Department of Foresight and Planning and International Relations (DPP). The classes will be held after work on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturday mornings, and are scheduled to start in October 2011, with a duration of 2 semesters.
