Presentation
The "24 HOURS OF MANAGEMENT®" is a business creation and management simulation/training aimed at testing both the intellectual dexterity and physical endurance of the participants.

This project is already a reference in its own right, as far as initiatives to boost Portuguese entrepreneurship and business thinking are concerned.

It is an educational game, which has increasingly attracted the attention of young people as participants (for its curricular value), the most prestigious educational institutions (for the positive impact of the experience it provides for their students and the communicational effect it allows them to exploit) and the human resources departments of large companies (as a source of recruitment and selection).

For 24 consecutive hours, the teams will play their best cards in management, strategic planning, finance, marketing, human resource management and time management, among others.

In the end, only the best prepared physically and mentally will be able to aspire to conquer the market leadership, accessing the desired prizes of € 5,000, € 1,500 and € 500, destined to the creation of new companies.

The 24 Hours of Management® is increasingly becoming a contest of excellence in the promotion of entrepreneurship. The innovation in the concept, the necessary polyvalence on the part of those who participate due to the heterogeneity of the challenges proposed, the easy, direct and real way in which the tests are executed and solved, always appealing above all to coherence in reasoning, perseverance, cooperation, among others, are all perspectives that fit into the range of skills that SFORI (organizer) values in an entrepreneur.

Thus, for the 2011 edition of 24 Horas de Gestão®, the theme of "Entrepreneurship in the Communication sector" was chosen, which will be put into practice by a roleplay, from which all the challenges that make up the initiative are generated.

In this sense, all activities during the 24 consecutive hours of the event will require a great deal of innovation and fresh thinking, so that teams can look at the reality of the retail trade, propose alternative strategies, either through totally new projects, or also through the use and renewal of ideas and concepts already existing in the market.
