UTL honors Best Students of 2011
The Technical University of Lisbon, in collaboration with Banco Santander Totta, promoted on December 7, 2011, at the Instituto Superior de Ciências Sociais e Políticas (ISCSP), of the Technical University of Lisbon (UTL), the Awards Ceremony for the "Best Students at UTL".
The ceremony was welcomed by Professor João Bilhim, President of ISCSP, who stressed the importance of rewarding merit and, likewise, Professor Conceição Peleteiro, vice-rector of UTL, said she wished this award would never cease to exist, as it is a real and concrete opportunity to value the best students of our University.
Right after watching a video about the winners and their performance in the tests that led to the distinction, the Dean of UTL, Professor Helena Pereira, together with Dr. António Vieira Monteiro, from Santander Totta Bank, handed out the second prizes to the best students at UTL who were selected not only due to their final course averages, but also through physical and written tests.
Finally, the best UTL students who received the 1st Prize were called to the stage. They were the subject of a short interview, conducted by Professor Conceição Peleteiro and journalist Maria Flor Pedroso, in which they expressed their satisfaction with the award and with their professional future, which is expected to be promising.
