University of Lisbon students Pedro Jacinto ( FMH), Tiago Rodrigues ( FMH) and Ana Sara Jorge ( ISEG's Department of Mathematics,) won the gold medal at the Lusophone Games held in Goa - India, and Duarte Branco ( IST) achieved the silver medal.
The 4 judokas represent the national Judo team participating in this great event organized by the Association of Portuguese-speaking Olympic Committees (ACOLOP).
ACOLOP was founded on June 8, 2004, with the aim of integrating the Portuguese-speaking world through sport and is already officially recognized by the International Olympic Committee.
