AUDITIONS | University of Lisbon Orchestra

If you like music and want to be part of the University of Lisbon Orchestrathis invitation is for you.

All ULisboa students and alumni, teachers and staff who have intermediate or superior knowledge of music on the following instruments: bassoon, oboe, French horn, trumpet, trombone, violin, viola, cello and double bass are invited to take part in this audition. To do so, they will have to prepare a piece lasting between 5 and 7 minutes, which will be assessed on the following day. March 6th in the Aula Magna.

Sign up by March 3rdAll you need to do is send an e-mail with your details (full name, age, telephone number, school, course, student number, instrument you play and level of experience) to nucleocultural@reitoria.ulisboa.pt. You will then receive an e-mail confirming the time of your audition.

The University of Lisbon Orchestra, in collaboration with the Portuguese Chamber Orchestra (OCP), was created to develop and give visibility to the musical talent of our University. Pedro Carneiro, OCP's principal conductor, is responsible for the Artistic Direction. The President of the Jury for the audition will be the OCP's assistant conductor, João Aibéo.
