The Administration of the Port of Sines, SA has established the Port of Sines Essay Award, which is intended to reward authors of academic or research works carried out in the field of History, Law and Port Management and Economics. The "Port of Sines Essay Award 2014", the first edition of this initiative, will reward works in the area of Port Management and Economics, completed between 2012 and 2014. National or foreign authors may apply, individually or in co-authorship, and the competing works must be presented in Portuguese.
