Under the terms of Article 79a(3) of Law no. 14/79 of May 16, as amended by Organic Law no. 3/2010 of December 15, voters may vote in advance in that election " students of educational institutions enrolled in establishments located in a district, autonomous region or island other than those where they are registered on the electoral roll".
The aforementioned voters must apply by September 14, by post or electronic means, to the mayor of the municipality in whose area they are registered, for the necessary documentation to exercise their right to early voting.
Along with the application, they must send: a copy of their voter registration card, or if this is not available, a voter registration certificate or form, a copy of their citizen's card/identity card or other identifying document; a statement issued by the school board attesting to their admission or attendance.
