Why take this course?
The Chinese reality is multifaceted, complex, and there are no recipes for the success of foreign companies in China. However, all those who work with China are unanimous in stating that the effort to get to know this reality is essential if we want, on the one hand, to understand what is happening in the world economy and, on the other hand, to collaborate with the Chinese world in whatever field of activity we are in.
Learning Chinese and knowing the culture is an important step to know how to relate to each other and maintain business dynamics, and allows us to have a perspective on what Chinese partners want from foreign companies, what opportunities they offer, what threats we may face, and how to minimize or neutralize them through an appropriate strategy and adjusted legal protection.
In this context, ISEG is one of the most prestigious Economics and Management education institutions in our country, integrated in the largest public University. ChinaLogus was one of the first entities to provide consulting services to China and to promote this type of training. The Portuguese-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry is one of the main Portuguese institutions in promoting bilateral relations between Portugal and China, gathering in its core all companies - large and small - that do business in this context.
