The MIT Portugal Program, an initiative of the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), is the result of a collaboration between universities, Portuguese research centers, companies and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and seeks to promote investment in science, technology and higher education as a driver of economic and social development in Portugal.
In this context, the MIT Portugal Program is calling for applications for the following International Doctoral Programs:
- Bioengineering
- Leaders for Technology Industries
- Sustainable Energy Systems
- Transportation Systems
Applications are also open for the following advanced training courses:
- Bioengineering Systems (Advanced Course)
- Technology Management Enterprise (Executive Masters)
- Sustainable Energy Systems (Executive Masters)
Doctoral programs and advanced training courses are taught by a
consortium of Portuguese universities and research centers in collaboration with professors from MIT.
Recipients
Students interested in developing research and careers in systems engineering have a unique opportunity to interact with the best that Portugal and MIT have to offer.
The candidate must have a pre-bologna Bachelor's degree (4-5 years), or a post-bologna Integrated Master's degree or equivalent.
In addition, candidates must demonstrate good fluency in English.
