Next May, ISEG is launching the first edition of the executive course on Benefits Management of Information Technology Investments.

Framework
Investments in information systems and technologies involve very significant amounts of money and considerable organizational benefits. However, it is still relatively rare to be able to unequivocally demonstrate the return and effective value of these investments. If, on the one hand, there is a context of economic volatility and scarcity of resources, on the other, there has been a significant increase in the complexity of information technology and systems solutions, which makes it difficult to perceive their benefits.

The difficulty of evaluating the benefits resulting from investments in information systems and technologies has put future projects at risk, due to the loss of investor confidence in the organization's ability to make the changes necessary to obtain benefits.

This course addresses this problem by equipping participants with the principles, practices and techniques of managing the benefits of investments in initiatives capable of generating value for the organization.
