Applications for the University of Lisbon Prize (ULisboa) 2018 are open until May 31, 2018.
The University of Lisbon Award (ULisboa), established with the support of Caixa Geral de Depósitos, aims to distinguish and reward an individual of Portuguese or foreign nationality, who has made a notable contribution to the progress and enhancement of Science and/or Culture and to the international projection of the country.
The ULisboa Prize is awarded annually, by deliberation of a jury, whose president is the Rector of the University of Lisbon. The overall amount of the cash prize is € 25,000.00.
Applications are submitted to the Rector of the University of Lisbon by bidders other than the applicant.
The application file must include:
- Completed application form
(Download application form)
- Written proposal for the justification of the application dated and signed by the applicant - (maximum 3 pages)
- Short curriculum vitae
All application documents must be submitted in digital format and sent by email to
