The President of the European Parliament, Antonio Tajani, was at ISEG on September 28 to talk about "The Future of Europe".
This debate, which was attended by the Secretary of State for European Affairs, Ana Paula Zacarias, took place as part of the initiative
"
Meetings with Citizens
" by the Secretary of State for European Affairs, which aims to give citizens the opportunity to express their opinion on the future of the European Union.
The session was also attended by the President of ISEG, Professor Clara Raposo, who opened the debate.

Would you like to give your opinion on the future of Europe?
The "Meetings with Citizens" initiative by the Secretary of State for European Affairs in collaboration with the Jacques Delors European Information Center, the Diplomatic Institute and in partnership with the European Commission Representation in Portugal and other entities aims to give citizens the opportunity to express their opinion on the future of the European Union.
In this context, a
digital portal which aims to disseminate information on events held, clarify citizens' doubts about the initiative, and promote open, public and transparent debate, inviting citizens to participate in one of the upcoming events or in the online public consultation
It can contribute to
online consultation written by the citizens themselves, to read and react to the
White Paper on the future of Europe, participate in citizens' dialogues organized by the European Commission or take part in debates organized in your country.
