Today, October 24th, took place the
Honorary Doctorate Ceremony awarded to Professor Alvin E. Roth by the Rector of the University of Lisbon, Prof. Doctor António Cruz Serra, at the suggestion of ISEG.
Alvin E. Roth was awarded the
Bank of Sweden Prize for Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel
and is currently a Professor at Stanford and Harvard Universities, having devoted much of his academic life to the study of game theory, experimental economics and market design.
