ISEG chosen by AICEP to prepare graduates for the INOVCONTACTO international program

This year, ISEG is hosting the opening event of the 24th edition of INOV Contacto, an international internship program coordinated by AICEP and supported by the European Union.

The initiative kicks off on January 27-30 with the Welcome Seminar on International Practices, a benchmark event for professionals at the start of their careers.

"ISEG's DNA is made up of initiatives that support young people to seek international challenges and give them the tools to take an active role in society. In addition to the usual panels on Career Management, I would highlight the sessions around the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), a central theme for ISEG" explains Professor Clara Raposo, President of ISEG.

200 young graduates will be present for four days of intensive training by ISEG professors, covering topics such as the future of organizations, leadership skills, entrepreneurship and personal marketing, among others, in order to prepare them for their six-month internship abroad.

The opening of the event will be attended by the Secretary of State for Tourism, Rita Baptista Marques, Professor Ana Morais, Vice-President of ISEG, and the President of AICEP, Luís Castro Henriques. The event will close on January 30 with the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Augusto Santos Silva, the President of Turismo de Portugal, Luís Araújo and the President of ISEG, Professor Clara Raposo.

The INOV Contacto international internship program won the 2019 European Enterprise Promotion Awards (EEPA) and was distinguished by the European Commission as one of the three projects that best contribute to the enrichment of skills for entrepreneurship.
