Jorge Daniel Faria Silva, who holds a doctorate from ISEG, won ex-aequo the prize awarded by the Order of Economists to the best doctoral theses in Economics.
The António Simões Lopes Award - Best Doctoral Thesis in Economics in 2019 honored the thesis "Essays on macroeconomic policy in Portugal" oriented by Professor António Afonso.
The award ceremony took place on January 15, as part of the 15th Annual Conference of the Portuguese Bar Association, which focused on the State Budget for 2020.
