For the third year running, the ISEG team reached the European final of the CFA Challenge
ISEG has just reached the TOP 4 of the European regional final of the CFA Challenge, the world's largest competition for finance students, which this year was held by videoconference due to Covid-19.
The Masters in Finance students from the Lisbon School of Economics & Management ranked among the top 4 in the EMEA region and, consequently, in the Top 20 worldwide in the CFA Challenge.
The ISEG team represented Portugal in the European final, after winning the national competition for the last four years. ISEG is the only Portuguese school to reach the top in the regional finals, which also happened in 2018 and 2019. In this edition, only 20 business schools from around the world make it to the big stage of the regional finals, in a competition in which around 1,200 schools and more than 5,000 finance students from around the world take part.

This year's ISEG team was made up of students Arthur Pinheiro, Margarida Alpalhão, Patrícia Ferreira, César Teixeira and Jorge Faria, and was coordinated by Professor Victor Barros.
The CFA Research Challenge is a global competition held every year by the renowned American Chartered Financial Analysts Institute, which offers university finance students practical guidance, intensive training in financial analysis and the chance to meet leading professionals in the sector.
