The economic situation aggravated by the COVID-19 disease has determined the need to speed up the construction of the National Strategy to Combat Poverty, provided for in the Program of the XII Constitutional Government.
To this end, the government set up a Coordination Committee, which includes professors Amélia Bastos and Carlos Farinha Rodrigues.
The participation of ISEG members in this commission reflects public recognition of the important role that the research and civic activity of our school's professors play in the areas of public policy, the fight against inequalities and poverty.
