Professor Sara Falcão Casaca was invited to be the vice-president of the Economic and Social Council (CES). The ISEG gender researcher is the first woman to assume the CES vice-presidency. The CES is a constitutional body for consultation and social consultation that has as its main objectives the promotion of the participation of economic and social agents in the decision-making processes of the sovereign bodies, within the scope of socio-economic matters, being, by excellence, the space for dialogue between the Government, the Social Partners and other representatives of organized civil society.
