This important scientific publisher has established a partnership with ISEG (University of Lisbon). ISEG will keep the responsibility for the Editorial Policy, while Emerald will bring many important changes to the Journal, bringing several improvements, namely at the level of the web page, paper submission system, distribution, promotion channels and an invaluable expertise in publishing matters.
This association with Emerald represents the next step in the life of this magazine, which has now celebrated 27 years of uninterrupted publication.
Founded in 1993 as “Estudos de Gestão”, it later changed its name to “Portuguese Journal of Management Studies”. In 2015, the Journal gained a more international outlook and changed its name to “The European Journal of Management Studies”. However, since its inception, it has been a generalist magazine in Management, interested in publishing articles in different areas of Management, including strategy, marketing, human resources, organizational behavior, operations and logistics, finance, accounting, management control , taxation, management information systems, entrepreneurship, economic sociology and international management.
