Don't miss out on the "Practical Mindfulness and Chi-Kung Workshop", which will take place on Saturday, 13th April at ISEG, from 09.30 to 13.45.
Develop your ability to concentrate and consequently your intuition, perception of events, and decision-making capacity for the most difficult situations in life. Achieve a balance between body and mind and learn how to manage stress and improve your health and quality of life.
In this workshop, Professor João Carvalho das Neves (ISEG) brings together the theory and practice of Mindfulness with the aim to improve your health and well-being, including energy management exercises (chi-kung). The workshop will provide you with tools for your daily life and counts on specific moments of interaction designed to clarify questions and doubts. The teacher is a Certified Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Teacher from the University of California San Diego Center for Mindfulness Professional Training Institute and an accredited Chi-Kung Instructor from the Traditional School of Chinese Medicine (Lisbon).

Participants should preferably bring a yoga mat and a small blanket in case it's cold (although this is not compulsory). Each participant should also bring along food to share during a group lunch for socialising and sharing experiences and for clearing up any unanswered questions (Q&A).
