Biography
Professor Catedrático, na área de sistemas de informação e gestão de operações, e Vice-Presidente do Conselho de Escola do ISEG - Universidade de Lisboa. É leader de tecnologias quânticas da Deloitte Portugal e head of the Portuguese Quantum Innovation Centre, do Portuguese Quantum Institute. É membro do Conselho Geral do Clube Europeu para a Governança de Sistemas de Informação.
É doutorado em sistemas de informação de gestão pela Universidade de Cranfield UK), MBA (com grau de mestre) e licenciado em gestão pelo ISEG. Recebeu o prémio de melhor aluno de doutoramento em gestão da Universidade de Cranfield e de melhor aluno de MBA do ISEG.
Foi Presidente do ISEG (2014-2017), Vice-Presidente do ISEG (2009-2014), Presidente do Conselho de Administração do IDEFE SA (2014 a 2019), Presidente do Infomation Institute, USA (2009-2010), Vice-Presidente do Portuguese Quantum Institute (2021-2024). Foi coordenador do Programa de Doutoramento em Gestão do ISEG (2005-2017) e membro do Júri de seleção de Juízes Conselheiros do Tribunal de Contas, em vários concursos. Foi membro do Editorial Board da revista “Information & Management”, durante cerca de 10 anos. Publicou mais de 50 artigos em revistas e conferências académicas.
