Master's student in Economics and Public Policies awarded the Jacques Delors Prize

Today, on the 13th April, at 18.00, the Jacques Delors Prize 2020 will be awarded to the paper on "Subsidiarity as an Institution in Europe: from small steps to a common future", by Marta Rosado da Fonseca, an alumna of the Masters in Economics and Public Policies (MEPP) at ISEG.

The award ceremony takes place at the Money Museum.

The delay in awarding the 2020 prize to Marta Rosado da Fonseca was due to the restrictions imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic.

The awarded work corresponds to the Master's Final Paper that was presented and discussed within the scope of the MEPP. "The award of this prize is a recognition of the quality of education provided at ISEG and of the Masters in Economics and Public Policy", says the coordinator of the MEPP, Carlos Farinha Rodriguesfor whom the award of this prize is an "honour for the School".

This initiative, which was established in 1996 and is sponsored by the Bank of Portugal, also distinguished with an Honorable Mention four other academic research works on relevant topics in the European Union
