Cooperation Fellowship Scheme - Presentation Session - December 14, 2009

ISEG invites all interested parties to participate in a presentation session of the Fellowship Scheme cooperation program of the Overseas Development Institute (ODI), UK, which will take place on December 14th at 4:30pm at the Caixa Geral de Depósitos Auditorium.

The ODI Fellowship Scheme is a cooperation program with governments of developing countries, through which young people with a master's degree and preferably with experience in the fields of development cooperation are recruited to work for two years as technical advisors in ministerial departments of developing countries. The program has been running since 1963 and offers an excellent opportunity to start a career in the field of development cooperation.

The session will be led by Adrian Hewitt, program coordinator, and Lídia Cabral, research fellow at the Overseas Development Institute and former program fellow in Mozambique.

This will be the first Fellowship Scheme dissemination session to be held in Portugal. It is intended to make the program known to the Portuguese target audience and clarify doubts of potential candidates about the application process and field experience.

For more information about the Fellowship Scheme see: http://www.odi.org.uk/fellows/index.html

The deadline for applications for the next round of the program (Fellowship Scheme 2010-2012) is December 17, 2009.
