The ISEG-UTL and FACE-UFMG agreement is to be congratulated

According to the evaluation of CAPES - Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel, published on December 13, 2010, UFMG - UNIVERSIDADE FEDERAL DE MINAS GERAIS, in the areas of ADMINISTRATION, ACCOUNTING AND TOURISM, obtained a grade of 6, between 0 and 7, a classification that places it among the first four Brazilian universities, out of a total of about 160.

The Technical University of Lisbon was considered one of the institutions with the most active agreements with UFMG and that contributed to the grade obtained, where in this specific case, given the area being evaluated, it is the responsibility of the Higher Institute of Economics and Management.

CAPES Appreciation
"According to CAPES criteria, grades 6 and 7 are reserved exclusively for programs with doctorates, classified as grade 5 in the first stage of the triennial evaluation, and that necessarily and obligatorily meet two conditions: i) present a performance equivalent to that of international centers of excellence in the area, ii) have a highly differentiated performance level in relation to the other programs in the area.
Regarding the process of internationalization of the program, it is observed that it has developed efforts with relevant results. Several active agreements with various institutions have been made in recent years, such as: University of Grenoble (France), Instituto de Sociologia da Faculdade de Letras da Universidade do Porto and Universidade Técnica de Lisboa (Portugal), University of Cambridge (England), Universidad Complutense de Madrid (Spain), Erasmus University (Netherlands), University of Texas at Austin (USA), Montreal School of Advanced Commercial Studies (HEC Montreal), University of Bologna (Italy), University of Applied Sciences Schmalkaden (Germany), Scala Agreement (Argentina).
