AMERICAN CORNER AWARD IN SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ECONOMY AND HUMANITIES

This Award was created specifically to promote AMERICAN CORNERS in various scientific fields and to give a voice to students who wish to present their worldviews and ideas for improving today's society.

To participate, simply record a video (e.g. with your cell phone), upload it to YouTube and then send an email with the video/participant's identification data. When the 2 winners from each institution/AC (in total 7 institutions/ACs = 14 participants) are chosen, the 14 participants will go on stage to present their ideas before the public in a final event in TEDx format to be held at IST.

The two winners will be awarded two trips to the USA for one week, with a program of visits tailored to the project/idea.

All students (current or former), faculty, and researchers at institutions of higher education where there is an American Corner partnership are eligible to apply.

The concept of the idea/project to be presented must be innovative and must deserve to be heard and amplified in order to improve today's society.
