Information about the ISEG Library, databases and software

  1) Book loans and bibliographic research Due to the health crisis and the consequent declaration of a State of Emergency, the ISEG Library has made changes to its loan service. A specific e-mail service was created - library@iseg.ulisboa.pt This service is designed to: a) assisting users in searching the Library's catalog and answering brief bibliographic questions; b) answering requests for home loans - in this case, please indicate in the email you send us: - Name - Student number - Address (in Portugal) - VAT NUMBER - Institutional email - Telephone/Mobile - Title of the book, author and year of publication or Quotation of the book. The works will be sent by post to the address indicated. We would also like to inform you that all loans of books from the Library will be renewed automatically until the situation is normalized, at which time this loan policy will be reassessed, taking into account the possible revision of the confinement measures currently in force. If the current lockdown measures are maintained, this policy will naturally have to be extended. From May 4, it will also be possible for users to go in person to the ISEG library to order any books they need or to return those they have borrowed. This access will be done with respect for the security rules in force, in order to maintain the safety of users and staff.   2) Access to e-books and other content Faced with the pandemic situation, many publishers have made much or all of their content open access.
