ULisboa will launch the Water College, dedicated to bringing together research, innovation, and advanced training to address the major challenges related to water—from scarcity to pollution, and from climate resilience to the blue economy.
The launch event will take place on 7 July, at 11.00, in Pavilhão de Portugal, with the public presentation of the WISE project – Water Innovation, Science and Education, which serves as the basis for the founding of the Water College.
With a three-year budget of 900,000 euros, funded by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, WISE plans to launch proof-of-concept projects, mentoring and acceleration programmes for startups, as well as training for students and professionals throughout its duration.
