Chinese Language, Culture and Business Dynamics Course for Entrepreneurs and Managers in China
Between September 29, 2015 and March 3, 2016, CEGE - Centro de Estudos de Gestão do ISEG (ISEG's Center for Management Studies) is holding a course on Chinese Language, Culture and Business Dynamics for Entrepreneurs and Managers in China. This course is aimed at entrepreneurs and managers who are doing or intend to do business in China. It will be structured in 2 modules and will last 77 hours.
The Chinese reality is multifaceted, complex, and there are no recipes for the success of foreign companies in China. However, all those who work with China are unanimous in stating that the effort to get to know this reality is essential if we want, on the one hand, to understand what is happening in the world economy and, on the other hand, to collaborate with the Chinese world in whatever field of activity we are in.
Learning Chinese and getting to know the culture is an important step in knowing how to relate to and maintain business dynamics and allows us to see what Chinese partners want from foreign companies, what opportunities they offer, what threats we can face and how to minimize or neutralize them through an appropriate strategy and adequate legal protection.
